Pop the Cork for a Cause! Meet Pinstripe Wines
Jeri and Amy Andrews, founders of Pinstripe Wines
On this World AIDS Day, we raise a glass to Pinstripe Wines—a sparkling wine house where luxury meets legacy. Founded by Amy and Jeri Andrews, Pinstripe is more than a winery; it’s a movement rooted in empowerment, resilience, and giving back.
The brand is a heartfelt tribute to Amy’s late Uncle Jeff, whose creativity and courage in the face of an AIDS diagnosis in the early 1980s continue to inspire every bottle. A prolific artist, Jeff’s work served as the inspiration for Pinstripe’s signature round mark—a circle holding the vertical and horizontal lines that define the brand. Designed by Amy as an homage to him, the mark mirrors one of his original pieces, symbolizing balance, connection, and enduring strength in the face of adversity.
Founders Jeri and Amy Andrews are all about making magic happen when values align, and we couldn't agree more! Pinstripe isn't just any winery; it's the only women-owned, LGBTQ-owned sparkling wine house in the United States! They craft their incredible wines using the traditional Méthode Champenoise, making Pinstripe a vibrant movement rooted in empowerment, resilience, and the belief that true luxury extends to the legacy you leave behind.
A Mission with Heart
Pinstripe was founded on three enduring pillars: empowerment for all, strength through diversity, and the luxury of leaving a lasting legacy. Every choice—from vineyard to bottle—is guided by intention, kindness, and integrity.
As the only women-owned, LGBTQ+-owned sparkling wine house in the United States, Pinstripe embodies what it means to challenge convention and elevate community. Their wines are crafted exclusively using the traditional Méthode Champenoise, honoring centuries of craftsmanship while creating modern expressions of elegance and purpose.
“Just like people, wine becomes extraordinary when given time, care, and connection,” says co-founder Amy Andrews.
This deliberate approach reflects Pinstripe’s belief that true luxury isn’t mass-produced—it’s earned through patience, artistry, and authenticity.
Honoring the Trailblazers
Jeri and Amy are dedicated to their craft. By using the Méthode Champenoise, they honor the time-honored French tradition—one that is labor-intensive, demands immense patience, and rewards every effort. They chose this method because it represents the pinnacle of sparkling wine craftsmanship: luxury that’s earned, not manufactured.
By embracing the Méthode Champenoise, Pinstripe carries forward the legacy of women like Madame Clicquot, who defied expectations and transformed Champagne into a global symbol of excellence. Jeri and Amy often credit these pioneers—and the countless women who continue to shape the wine world—as inspiration for their own work.
They’re not only preserving tradition; they’re evolving it with heart.
Luxury That Leaves a Legacy
Jeri and Amy bring so much more than just a love for the craftsmanship in winemaking; they bring heart, purpose, and a deep, deep commitment to giving back.
One of their most meaningful wines, Ne Jamais Abandonner (French for “Never Give Up”), is a 100% Pinot Meunier Méthode Champenoise sparkling wine (93pts, OB) inspired by Uncle Jeff’s unwavering spirit. He kept that very phrase by his hospital bed as a daily reminder of resilience—words that now echo in Pinstripe’s purpose and philanthropy. It was his personal message to himself, his medical team, and everyone around him. It set a powerful tone and is the perfect message for the brave children and families at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Hearts of Gold: A Deep Commitment to Giving Back with Community at the Core
For Amy and Jeri, wine has always been about connection. Their Lighthouse Collective wine club brings people together to share stories, strength, and support. Each gathering celebrates courage, community, and compassion—the very values that define Pinstripe.
“We’re not your typical winery,” Amy explains. “We invite people into our homes. It’s casual, heartfelt, and real—often over a shared meal, in our slippers, talking about life. That’s where the magic happens.”
Amy absolutely loves welcoming new members to their wine club, saying that every sign-up feels incredibly personal – like someone out there is saying, "I believe in what you’re doing. I, too, believe in leaving this world a little better than we found it."
“For us, wine has always been about more than what’s in the glass. It’s about connection, care, and community. We give our members not just our wine, but our attention, our time, and our hearts. And when someone chooses to be part of that—it still chokes me up,” Amy explained.
Every wine club membership is personal, every event intentional, and every toast a reminder that luxury is best shared when it lifts others.
What’s Next: Looking Ahead
As Pinstripe grows, so does its impact. And, as this amazing brand continues to evolve, Pinstripe is expanding its sparkling wine offerings and deepening its community partnerships. Upcoming collaborations and events promise to continue blending fine wine with philanthropy, crafting experiences that are as meaningful as they are memorable.
Most recently, Amy nurtured a beautiful partnership with the owner and CEO of Realogics Sotheby's International Realty to present a custom Blanc De Noirs Reserve highlighting both of their companies. Her collaboration showcases the two brands, united in excellence, devoted to impact and aligned in vision: to celebrate milestones with meaning. With intention and generosity, the Pinstripe and Realogics Sotheby's 1 of 1 Blanc De Noirs Reserve donates 100% of profits to SCH, too.
